PREAMBLE
La Passerelle SARL’s main activity is the rental of furnished tourist accommodations on the islands of Miquelon-Langlade, in the Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon archipelago. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all bookings made for our accommodations, including the cottages in Miquelon and Langlade and the apartment located in Miquelon, under the brand name La Passerelle.
The relationship between the Parties is governed exclusively by these GTC and the house rules, available online and displayed in the accommodations. La Passerelle SARL reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. The applicable version is the one in force on the date the reservation is confirmed.
La Passerelle SARL makes every effort to ensure that the information on its website and other communication materials (texts, images, brochures, etc.) accurately reflects the accommodations and services offered. However, differences in perception may occur, particularly due to photographic representations. These materials are strictly informational and non-contractual.

 

1. GENERAL SERVICES
Rates are available via the booking platform on www.lapasserelle975.com by entering your desired travel dates.
The booking rate includes:
the selected accommodation,


the authorized number of guests (per capacity),


utilities (water, electricity, gas).
 Some additional services may be offered: laundry, cleaning, etc.
 An up-to-date list of available services is provided during booking or upon request.

 

2. BOOKING
Reservations must be made online via www.lapasserelle975.com.
 They become effective upon full payment and receipt of a written confirmation email from La Passerelle SARL, including a summary of the stay.
 By booking, the client acknowledges having read and accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale in their entirety.
 Please attach a copy of your ID or passport at the time of booking. This can be uploaded in your client space.

3. NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L. 221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services provided for a specific date.

4. RATES
Rates are expressed in euros (€).
 Rate fluctuations:
 Our rates are dynamic and may vary depending on season, availability, or promotional offers. La Passerelle SARL cannot be held responsible for rate differences between two periods or two customers.
 Tourist tax:
 In accordance with decision no. 317/2022, a 5% tourist tax (excluding options) is applied. This is collected on behalf of the Territorial Collectivity of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon and must be paid on arrival. The amount may change during the year. This tax applies only to non-resident guests of the archipelago.

5. PAYMENT METHODS
Payments can be made:
by credit/debit card online via the secure booking module,


by credit/debit card over the phone (for bookings made by phone),


by credit/debit card on site (Visa / Mastercard).
 Checks are not accepted.

 

6. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In case of a late arrival, the guest must inform the Passerelle team by email, Messenger, or phone as early as possible so that key handover can be arranged.

 Check-out: before 11:00 a.m.
 Late check-out requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
 Late departures may be accepted depending on availability and will be charged:
€50 for a cottage,


€32 for the apartment.
There is no 24-hour reception on site.


7. STAY
Client responsibility:
 The client is responsible for their personal belongings and conduct. Civil liability insurance is required.
 Any damage caused intentionally or through negligence may be charged.
 Capacity:
 The number of guests must not exceed the accommodation's stated capacity.
Children are considered as such from 3 years old (inclusive) up to 17 years old. From the age of 18, the guest is considered an adult.
We currently do not provide cribs for children aged 0 to 2.
Unauthorized overcapacity may result in immediate contract termination without compensation.
Transfer and subletting: Reservations are personal and non-transferable. Subletting is not allowed.

8. INVENTORY & CLEANING
Accommodations must be returned clean and in the same condition as upon arrival.
Any missing, broken, or damaged item will be charged.
A cleaning fee of €200 may be charged if the unit is returned unclean.
Cleaning is included in the rate and will be carried out on departure day. For long stays, cleaning is also scheduled every 7 days.
An additional cleaning can be booked for €30/hour.
A check-out inspection may be carried out on the day of departure, in the presence of the clients and a member of our team.

9. EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES
Accommodations are equipped as described on the website.
Electricity is supplied by solar panels and wind turbines at the Langlade site, and by the local power grid in Miquelon.
All units are non-smoking.
Sheets, towels, and kitchen cloths are included.

10. BOOKING MODIFICATIONS
Requests to modify a booking (dates or guest count) must be made at least 7 days before arrival.
Subject to availability, a reschedule may be offered within the same season.
Any shortened stay will be treated as a partial cancellation.
 If a modification is initiated by us, equivalent or superior services will be offered. If not possible, a full refund will be issued.

11. CANCELLATION
11.1 By the client:
Cancellations must be sent to lapasserelle@spmnet.com.
More than 7 days before arrival: full refund.


Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% of the stay is due.
Cancellation insurance and booking fees are non-refundable.


11.2 By La Passerelle SARL:
If La Passerelle cancels (excluding force majeure), a full refund will be issued.

12. LATE ARRIVAL / EARLY DEPARTURE
If no news is received from the client after 9:00 p.m. on the arrival day, the reservation is considered canceled. No refund will be issued.
 In the event of early departure, no refund will be issued.

13. INTERRUPTION OF STAY / FORCE MAJEURE
If the site is closed or the stay interrupted for reasons beyond our control (extreme weather, canceled transport, etc.), a full refund may be offered.

14. WEATHER CONDITIONS
Weather conditions do not justify a refund unless they objectively prevent access to the accommodation (ferry or flight cancellations).

15. PETS
For hygiene and comfort reasons, pets are not allowed in the accommodations.

16. HOUSE RULES
A copy of the house rules is available in each unit.
 Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

17. RESPECT & COURTESY
Clients agree to respect the premises, hosts, other guests, and the natural environment.
 Any inappropriate, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior may result in immediate cancellation of the stay.

18. LIABILITY
Content (texts, photos, descriptions) on our website and in our documents is for reference only and is non-contractual.
 Some services may be modified or suspended without notice.

19. PERSONAL DATA
Data collected during booking or communication is strictly confidential.
 It will not be shared with third parties.

20. CLAIMS / DISPUTES
All claims must be submitted by email to lapasserelle@spmnet.com or by mail to:

 For EU customers, the client may choose between French law or the law of their country of residence.

21. APPLICABLE LAW
These conditions are governed by French law.
 For EU residents, the law of their country may also apply.
 All disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts, unless otherwise agreed.

22. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
All bookings imply full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.
 By confirming a reservation, the client acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.
