How to get to the village of Miquelon
 

Miquelon is accessible by ferry or plane from Saint-Pierre, and by ferry from Fortune, Newfoundland, Canada.

By ferry from Saint-Pierre:
The maritime connection is available year-round via ferries.
The crossing takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The ferry can carry both passengers and vehicles (by reservation).

By plane:
Regular flights connect Saint-Pierre to Miquelon in about 15 minutes.
The local airline Air Saint-Pierre operates the route several times a week.

Recommendation: Due to the limited capacity of the aircraft, we strongly recommend booking in advance by calling the airline directly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

How to get to Langlade

The island of Miquelon is connected to Langlade by a 12 km sand isthmus called La Dune. In total, 25 km separate the village of Miquelon from Langlade.
Langlade is accessible by road from the village of Miquelon or by boat from Saint-Pierre.

 

Via the isthmus:
From the village of Miquelon, allow about 30 minutes by car to reach Langlade. This crossing offers a unique view of the isthmus’s wild landscapes.
You can also choose to walk or bike along the road.

By boat:
The maritime service operates from May to November.
The crossing takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The boat can carry passengers and bicycles with a pre-booked ticket.

Please note: There is no dock in Langlade.
Getting off the boat Le Jeune France is done via a small zodiac, directly onto the beach.
This type of access may be less suitable for people with reduced mobility, due to less comfortable and secure boarding and landing conditions.
